Sujean is a highly accomplished civil and structural engineer with extensive experience across a wide range of industries, including healthcare, education, utilities, petrochemical, and entertainment. She is both a licensed civil and structural engineer and recently completed her MBA. She earned her Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering and Master’s in Structural Engineering from UCLA. Sujean was born and raised in Pasadena and moved to Northern California in 2015 and currently serves as a Principal Civil Engineer at Pacific Gas & Electric, where she plays a pivotal role in strengthening the seismic reliability and resilience of the company’s critical electrical infrastructure.
Her impressive career includes leadership on high-profile projects such as Shanghai Disneyland, Stanford Hospital, the Detroit Edison Nuclear Power Plant, the Kenai offshore oil platform, and the PG&E Livermore Training Facility—each contributing to her deep expertise in complex engineering challenges.
Beyond her technical work, Sujean is a passionate advocate for women in STEM. As an active board member of W-STEM at PG&E, she is dedicated to mentoring and empowering the next generation of women in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, championing diversity, and ensuring that women have the support and opportunities to thrive in these fields.
